Icons used in the application interface

You can view the icons in the interface to get quick information about systems and operations, and to open other windows such as the application Help. Icons that do not have labels in the interface are defined below.

Notification area (system tray) icons

The notification area icon represents all managed storage systems. This icon changes appearance, reflecting changes in the health of all managed systems (as determined by the system with the worst health).

Icon	Name	Description
	Normal	All managed storage systems are up and running with no problems.
	Warning	There are minor issues with at least one storage system, but nothing that requires immediate attention.
	Error	Problems that might eventually result in downtime require attention in at least one storage system.
	Critical	One or more storage systems are not serving data or cannot be contacted. Immediate attention is required.
	Disabled	Monitoring is disabled.

Console Tree pane icons

You might see the following icons in the console tree list of managed systems.

Icon	Name	Description
	Configured storage system	An individual storage system.
	Configured active/active pair	An active/active pair.

Systems window icons

You might see the following icons in the Systems window. The Systems window is the window displayed when you click on the root level in the console tree.

Icon	Name	Description
	Normal	The storage system is up and running with no problems.
	Warning	There are minor issues, but none that require immediate attention. .
	Error	Problems that might eventually result in downtime require attention.
	Critical	The storage system is not serving data or cannot be contacted. Immediate attention is required.
	Individual system	The system type is an individual storage system.
	Active/active pair	The system type is an active/active pair.
	Unknown system	The system type is unknown or unavailable.

Dashboard window icons

You might see the following icons when viewing the dashboard for a selected storage system or active/active pair.

Icon	Name	Description
	Help button	Opens a help window with information about that dashboard pane.
	Link arrow button	If this is displayed next to a line item in a dashboard pane, clicking it links to another page where you can get more information about the line item or make changes to the line item.
	Dialog box arrow button	If this is displayed in the header of a dashboard pane, clicking it opens a dialog box that contains more information or actions you can perform.
